    We have had no shortage of amazing sunsets this winter thus far. Though it has been chilly the sunset have consistently pulled through! So here are a few pictures from Rodanthe over the Pamlico Sound.

    The Pamlico Sound started to freeze with the subzero temperatures and the 30 knots of North West winds. But it sure did make fore some cool and different OBX photos we don’t get to see every day down here.

    It was freezing yesterday. The waves were on and so was the wind, not to mention the snow that fell for a few minutes. With the 30 knots of wind, it just seemed a bit to cold to go jump in the ocean but that didn’t stop one kiter who was out back of REAL doing his thing!

    Even with all this cold weather the sunsets has still been stunning! I headed to the south end of Rodanthe for a few quick shots making my way back North as the sun set. The contrast in the lighting the last few days has been amazing.

    It has been rather cold the last few days in Rodanthe, NC. With the seemingly never ending NW winds it’s tough to put on a wetsuit at 6am in the freezing conditions and go out in the water. While I work up some confidence, here are a few pictures around Rodanthe near sunset.
