I’m not sure what happened, but summer has vanished from the Outer Banks of North Carolina and has been replaced with cool North winds, cloudy skies and a very early sunset. On a positive note, the wind and waves have been around as well as a perfect temperature for skating. These few weeks are some of my favorite of the year!

Matt Keenan and Rob Kelly are back in town this week. The surf has been fun but pretty hard to shoot. It’s been good times none-the-less. Here is a quick video from the session yesterday…

Legendary Surfboard Shaper Pat Rawson

Pat Rawson came into toan again to visit REAL and see the ESAs again this year. It was great to hear all that he had been up to since last year. Pat is a really interesting guy with great stories. We shot a few pictures for an upcoming feature on REAL’s website so stay tuned for that…

Alldredge REAL Billboard
I got to redesign the billboard on the side of Hwy 12 last week. The guys already came and installed the new graphics. REAL chose to use West Coast ripper Ian Alldredge (follow him) to try and appeal to the massive ESA crowd REAL will be hosting this week as the East Coast Championships are going on.
