After working all day, we took out the REAL Slider Park for an evening session. REAL had a great party going, the shop was packed, demos going on and even complete with a trailer full of refrigerated Kegs for everyone’s enjoyment. The Slider Park was put directly in back of the property, which made for a great show. Everyone was out having a great time and getting some good hits in. Here are a couple shots of me on the JWCF Slider:

Slider Session
It was another terrific weekend of sessions. Saturday started off with a 3 hour surf session with Dave Lewis and Anne-Marie at Mirlo Beach. With very consistent waist to shoulder high sets coming in, it made for a great surf. After lunch we headed over to REAL and pulled out the slider. By then the wind had lulled to 17. After getting the slider out and kites rigged, the wind kept building back up to the middle 20s. I finally pumped up all my kites and took out the 8m. I was a bit underpowered, but enough to get upwind until the wind picked back up. Dre, Nick, Scott and myself sessioned the slider for quite a while. Nick was determined to ride away from a 50-50 on the wakeskate, and did. Scotty was looking good sporting bindings, and I learned and landed a bunch of new jib tricks. It was a great day.

The Wind is Back
We have had 4 solid days of cranking SW winds. It has been 12m weather in the morning perfect to get in a slider session. Then in the afternoon we are fully powered on 8m kites. It looks like we will get a few more days of SW and then get a bit of a break. Here are a couple shot from our 6am slider session the other day.

Still No Wind, Good Surf
The wind had been incredibly light as of late. On the other hand, the surf had been fun and should only get better this week. It has been about waist high perfect for my new 9’9 Jimmy Lewis Noserider. Zack named my board “The Green Flash”. I loving this board its a blast! The forecast looks strong for wind and waves this week but will ahve to wait to see if that holds. Andre Phillip is back in town for about a month. Im looking forward to shooting with him again if the wind cooperates.
I snapped a couple lifestyle shots that night. Chucky took the photo of me with my new surfboard above. Here is Jessie and Chucky headed for a surf…

Triple-S Photos
Due to my hectic work schedule (to say the least) during the 2008 Triple-S Invitational, i really did not have an opportunity to shoot may photos. However, the link to the photos are below aswell as some of my favorites. Chris Stuckey is also responsible for many of the party photos.
