Full Moon Kite Session
Saturday Night was another epic session. Well it didnt start that way however. After surfing all morning with the Crew we headed back to BBQ for lunch. We sat around for a while, we finally decided to do a downwinder as the wind was blowing 16. It was light but we headed out anyways. i got about halfway through the downwinder when i downlooped the kite to hit the lip when pop. My chickenloop rope broke. After walking back to the highway and getting a ride from Nick back to my car i called it a session.
However, the wind kept building. After a few drinks and a movie it was 10:30 and blowing 20 knots SW. Scott, Stuckey, Nick and I headed to the Shop and pumped up. It was another amazing session. This was my first night session in The Slick. It was amazing to say the least. Doing speed runs up along the edge of the slick and throwing tricks at night was a hole nother ball game. We rode perfectly powered in butter flat moon light waters until about 1. It was most defiantly a session to remember. I spent the next half hour shooting a couple photos.

Nearly the Triple S
Today was a great day off. Everyone is very busy getting ready for the Triple S. Jason, Sam, Dre and Davey headed the re-construction of the Red Bull Funbox, which is nearing its completion. I scored two great slick sessions today. lit up both times first on my 12m and then later in the day on my 8m.

1st JWCF Slider Session
It was another terrific weekend in Hatteras minus the wind. Saturday we hung out on the beach and had a not so great kite session sat night with everyone at Sea Isle Hills. Sunday we cooked a killer breakfast followed by a standup paddle in the sound. Next came the all important mid day nap. Then it was a JWCF Slider session behind the Skis. It was my first session on the slider. So I geared up and gave it a shot. Nate, Brandon and Scottie sessioned the slider with me, while Mel, Nick, Stuckey and lex were out on the dock hanging out. We each took about 15 passes on the slider before calling it a session. We then headed back to the Sand Trap for a massive BBQ. There were terrific sunsets both nights, but here are the pics and a video of the slider session (video shot by Scott Laney (follow cam) & Bryan Elkus, Edit: Bryan Elkus):

NW Front
A massive Northwest Front Moved through Hatteras this evening. It was the first really well defined front of the season since last year’s NW Front. I was on my way home from work just about to pull into the tri-village, Rodanthe/Salvo/Waves, when the I came upon the front. So i got out of my truck and snapped a couple quick shots before the downpour began.
