Real’s Grand Opening Weekend was a success. It turned out to be a great weekend. Friday after work I drove over to KP for a solo session on my 17m and a surfboard. As the wind picked up I rode the JL Model 3 145cm. After we had a huge party at our house for nick’s birthday. The party was a blast to say the least. Saturday we woke up a headed to the chimi house for the Kiteboarding demo. The wind was light, SW@13-18 but everyone was riding big kites and boards. We had nearly all the kites and boards we carry out on the beach ready for demo. Saturday night was party number 2. We premiered Next the new movie from Tronolone and had ourselves a great night. Sunday was North in the low 20s. We were at KP for the demo round 2, but this time we were lit. The 9s and 11s were pumped up and ready for riding. We were the first to arrive on the scene around 9:30. By the time we headed out there were 5-6 riders ready to get on the water. We had a good circuit down. About an hour past and KP Blew up. It was packed and littered with kites and boards. KP became a zoo. There were tons of kites on the water
and everyone had a great time.

frisco strapless
I wound up taking a split today. Tim, tommy and I took a short session at the skate park until we realized that the wind was up enough to go ride. So we headed to the Frisco pier (SW@17) and rode 9ms and surfboards for a hour or so. The waves were pretty small which was nice for me to gain some more confidence in the waves strapless.

KP Chamber session
Last night after work I drove up to KP to sneek as short session in. SW @ maybe 13-15 It was very light I was barely able to stay up wind on my 17m and a large twin. I rode tommy’s JL Chamber. It’s a very very fast surfboard. I rode for about an hour and called it quits.

Shorty session
Yesterday (Thur) Tommy and I ran out of work ASAP to catch a evening session at KP. With the hour and a half of light we had left we rode hard. I was juiced on my 07 13m Fuel (loving it) and tommy on his 12 Havoc. We rode while the sun set and past. It was my first shorty session since ive been down here.
I took a splity today and rode at KP again. It was S and cranking I was on my 13m then got blown off to my 9m. The 9m is fast. I was a hair underpowered but that is going to be one fun kite. -

JL Fligt Deck session
I ran out for a quick session during lunch today. It was S at barely 15. I pumped up the 17m fuel and grabed the Jimmy Lewis Flight Deck from the shop and snagged a quick session at Kite Point. The Flight Deck rode well. I was definatly going faster than any one out there. It was very smooth in the flat water and when the wind picked up enough there was good load and pop too.

Springbreakers Part5
The weekend proved to be a great one. I got my new kites on Friday so we spent a little time after I got off work tagging the kites. We tagged the 13m and 17 m. My 17 fuel is black and blue: 13m is back and orange: and my 9m is black and purple. We got up at 9 on Saturday hoping for the wind to pick up. We drove to the cove to hang out at the beach. Tommy and nick were already there taking sessions on the standup paddleboards. The wind never picked up but we all took sessions. Samm almost got up on her first wave. We tried out the 11’0 and 11’7 stand up boards. Which are very fun, hard work and challenging. After a long day of beaching it. We headed home to somr R&R. Sunday brought N winds. It seemed like everyone who kiting on the island headed to KP for a day long session. I started on my 17m. It picked up to where I couldn’t hold down my kite in a matter of minutes. I rode the 17 for about 10-15 minutes before throwing up my 13m. Then I tested all the safety systems twice, having to swim in from the sound two times and untangle my lines. The rest of the day was a blast riding and hangout with friends.

Springbreakers part4
We rode at Kite Point again today. They crew was out on 7s and 9s for thier first session. By the time i got off from work to go ride it was droping. It rode a 16m Octane. I did a downwinder from KP to the Buxton slick. Definatly not one of the best sessions as of late, but it will give me a chance to recoupe from the kite hangover i have from yesterdays session.

Springbreakers part3
I got out a little late from my Splitty but the wind was cranking when I did. I rode from 2-3:30 I met up with the rest of the crew at the chimi house after they had been sessioning for a couple hours. I pull in to see Greg riding for his first time. Samm did a bunch of body dragging and started to learn to get up on the board. I headed out with Noah’s already pumped Yarga. I was trying some unhooked stuff but I could pop I would just fall before leaving the water. After about 4 more attempts I looked a little closer at my board as saw that it was snapped. So I grabbed to the 06 Naish sol for a little session. The board rode well but the foot straps did not fit me. I then moved to the Jamie with Unions and started throwing tricks and crashing a lot. All in all it was a good session minus one board.
