I headed around town (Ann Arbor, MI) as the snow started to fall from the highly anticipated front that was moving into the region. I wanted to get out to take some pictures before the temps dropped too much.

Snowkiting in Ann Arbor
It was a great day of snowkiting in Michigan. The ice was thick with a few inches of snow on top. The sun was out helping to keep the temps bearable. The guys rode for hours cruising the lake.

Knee-high kickers in Florida
The wind cranked in Deerfield Beach, FL. Some of the family took a couple hours to go with me to the beach. Consistent sets small waves come through creating a great playground to explore. It was great being back in salt water. I was perfectly powered on the 12m Envy.
PS. Thanks for the photos dad!

How to Find Alligators in Florida
We went in search for Alligators in Florida. Driving only 20 minutes we came to the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, and took an airboat tour. Unfortunately, the sun wasn’t out, so we didn’t see many large Alligators on the tour. We did get to see a nice variety of birds.

Exploring the wintery trails of Traverse City is always a good time. It’s especially fun when we had 24″+ of fresh snow.

Hiking Lines in Northern Michigan
I had a great day of snowboarding in Northern Michigan. Mike and I meet up with Nathan and his friends. We hiked at two locations and had an absolute blast! The snow was amazing.
At the first location we rode, the snow was easily knee-thigh deep and untouched. The second place was a bit tracked out, but we still found a couple fun lines.

Perfect Day Snowboarding at Crystal (again!)
I was lucky enough to score another great day at Crystal Mountain. This time I had company, Mel and her grandmother joined. I also met up with Nate, John, Casey, Mariah, Adrianne later in the day.
We were met by an amazing sunrise on our drive to the hill. The snow was terrific. Huge snowflakes fell all day and we took lap after lap.
