On the way North, we drove through the wreckage left by an ice storm. There was .25-.5 inches of ice on everything! As the temps warmed, chucks of ice broke off and crashed to the ground. We explored for a little while before moving on. It was amazing and surreal. Here is some of what we found:

Mel’s Graduation from EMU
Mel’s graduation was a great. It was hosted at the EMU basketball stadium. Congrats to Mel and her Speech Pathology friends!

Crystal Mountain Early Season
Northern Michigan saw 20+ inches of snow in the previous three days, so it was time to hit the slopes. It was a great day at Crystal Mountain with blue skies, no lines and good snow.

A Snowy Walk Through West Bloomfield
It finally felt like Winter today in Michigan. I took a great walk on a trail in West Bloomfield, while there was an onslaught of large snowflakes coming down. It was surreal, fun and cold!
