New Synagogue Anshai Torah
This past weekend, I headed to Dallas to visit my family. I did a quick shoot for a new synagogue/temple in the Plano Area, Anshai Torah. The synagogue added a new wing to the building and this is how well it turned out:

Alldredge REAL Billboard
I got to redesign the billboard on the side of Hwy 12 last week. The guys already came and installed the new graphics. REAL chose to use West Coast ripper Ian Alldredge (follow him) to try and appeal to the massive ESA crowd REAL will be hosting this week as the East Coast Championships are going on.

SBC Kiteboard 35 Cover
I scored my third cover from the 2011 Liquid Force Shoot with this shot of Chris Burke on the JWCF Slider on the cover of SBCKiteboard Magazine. I was very excited with how well the guys were riding and it allowed me to try new thing while out shooting. I like that the lighting is completely different from the other covers and I must say this shot was a tough one to pull off. I also wanted to thank Nate Appel and Michael Juhl for being my flash guys that night! -

The Aftermath of Hurrican Earl on Cape Hatteras, NC
It was a long haul back to the Island this weekend. The usual 3-4 hour drive from Richmond took 5-6 hours with the traffic due to the water on Hwy. 12. But all was well when we made it down. There was minimal damage at best. If you were to have gone away for those couple day you would have never known that a once Cat. 4 hurricane Earl was headed towards the island. There was and still is plenty of sitting water, but all in all this was the best out come. The waves were spectacular on Saturday. I caught amazing sunset surf with Jessie and Pat. The sky was on fire, one of the top surf session of the year!
We made it out again the next morning. It was much smaller but very fun. My cousin Jeff and his friend John were also in town and we got them out in the line up. After the surf we grabbed breakfast at Atlantic Coast Café then headed home for some R&R.
After a terrific nap we packed up the truck and headed to Ramp 23 for another session followed by a skate at the laughing gull bowl and an amazing sunset Standup in the glassy Pamlico Sound as the sky blow up for us one more time!
