  • Ann Arbor Spring Skate

It’s been a fun few days with warmer weather. Here are a few to prove it.

  • Ice Kiting on Whitmore Lake

It has not been a great winter for snowkiting. But the lake finally froze so we decided to head out for a little fun. The wind was really light but it was more than enough to ride around for a few hours and practice shooting with the drone. Here is a look at out morning…

  • Fall 2015 Rolls of Film

I finally had three rolls of film developed. I shot two rolls on a Yashica camera, that I borrowed from Kate (thanks Kate!). One of the rolls came out great; the other, not so much.

This camera took 120 film which is a larger film than the traditional 35mm film size. The camera also shoots a native 1:1 or square photo. The hardest thing was composing with the camera as adjusting the frame was backward on one axis while normal on another. I have some work to do.

The third roll of film had been shot on the Leica with Tri-X 400 35mm film. These shots are the 2:3 ratio images.

  • Meet Baby Maggie

We got to meet baby Maggie this weekend. She is one cute baby. Here are a couple of shots from our visit.

  • Ann Arbor Skatepark Short

Edgar and I tested out the drone at the Ann Arbor Skatepark. Here are some quick clips testing out the camera and learning to fly. I was very impressed in the quality of the shots and how stable the camera was with the gimbal. We have a lot to learn but here are some fun clips from the skate session.

  • Winter Skate Session

The crew got together for a Sunday skate. It was a bit cooler than anticipated, but we had a great time. Here are a few pics to prove it.

  • Meeting Quillber the Hedgehog

We had a great time meeting Quillber this weekend. He is the cutest (and only) hedgehog I have ever met. Quil hung out with us for a while licking some watermelon and cruising around the house.

  • Late Fall Surf in Muskegon

The wind shifted on me a bit early and went straight west. It was really windy, 35-45 knots. With the wind on shore I decided to grab a little session inside the pier heads. I had a few fun waves.

  • Quick Fall Ann Arbor Skatepark Session

The weather was great for a fall skate. It was a classic fall day. After I skated for a bit I took a couple of shots before heading home.
