Yesterday marked the beginning of one of the biggest winter snow storms on Cape Hatteras in nearly a decade. And we were going to take advantage! I mean its not everyday you get this much snow on an island. It started snowing by late morning and it continued dumping for another 8 hours. We were left with some 4-8 inches of snow.
The first session Chris headed out to go kiteboarding in the Pamlico Sound, during a near blizzard behind the REAL Flagship Store. With full rubber gear on he managed to do a few tricks while impressing the croud.
After that, I meet up with Dave Rakes for a snow kite session at SDA. There was just enough snow to make it work but the wind was very gusty so I took a couple pictures and headed home for some hot coco and to watch the snow fall.
