If a perfect sound glass off wasn’t enough for the day, we lucked out with an all time sunset. Zack and Beth headed out for a paddle and i caught up with them as they headed out.

  • Pamlico Sound Glass Off

    BRYANELKUS_92373

I woke up this morning to a glass off of the Pamlico Sound. I headed out to snap some early morning shots. Beautiful yes, but where did the waves go..?

  • Sam Bell Quiver Shot in SBC

Sam Bell was working with SBC Kiteboard on a quiver article. I did the shot after we got back from REAL Peru in the backyard of REAL Watersports. Check out the SBC article, HERE.

  • Nags Head Golf Shoot

    BRYANELKUS_81317

I spent most of the workday editing and tagging photos from the pervious day’s shoot. After work I cruised up north with Mel to get my truck window fixed (from a rock). We got all the way up to Nags Head before it started raining. They couldn’t fix the glass with there being moisture in the cracks.

So we headed over the Nags Head Links to try and shoot a couple shots I’ve been meaning to get. They allowed me to take photos so we got to work during the interment drizzles. Mel got some good practice on her swing while I did a lot of shooting. After shooting for a while we put away all the gear and hit some balls before heading back.

  • The Kite Dress by Charley Friedman

    BRYANELKUS_67256

Last night I did a fun shoot with Claire Lutz and Charley Friedman. Charley designed a dress out of an old unused kite. Claire did the modeling. Brian, Mel and Nick helped out with the shoot (mostly holding back all of Claire and Charley’s fans). We shot the picture near the dunes of the Atlantic Ocean at the end of my street. I’m very excited as to how the images came out. Unfortunately, I cannot share them until they run. So stay tuned…

  • Triple-S Preparations

    BRYANELKUS_41778

It was another crazy day getting ready for the Triple-S. We have nearly everything ready to roll. The only thing I’m waiting on is the waterhousing, which should arrive tomorrow. The new JWCF Slider arrives first thing in the morning tomorrow as well.

After a good day of work and a night meeting with everyone for REAL the wind turned SW. I headed out for a solo session in the slick. Dylan and Joby were already out riding the dock when I got out of the meeting. I took a few laps in the slick and came in to shoot some of the dock action. Dylan was killing it! Nick Baines and Brian Smith were also doing damage. It was good to have some wind again!

  • Triple-S Fire-drills and Skateboarding

    BRYANELKUS_41433

After a very long day of putting out fire drills relating to the Triple-S, I had a great dinner with the family. We then headed to Jason’s for another skate session.

  • Skate at Slezy’s

    BRYANELKUS_41228

Today on my day off I went to work. Sweet! I did however have a great breakfast with my family before my sister and her friend headed back home. Then it was all Triple-S until 7pm. Mel and I headed over to Jason’s to meet up with the crew to shoot some skating. Ed like usual, was killing it, and Davey Blair showed up and skated very well. It was good to see him again. The Triple-s is almost here.
