Charlie invited some of us down to his place for a full on sushi dinner made by the man himself. It was absolutely fantastic to say the least. Nate, Zack and I headed down a little early to shoot and go surf at the Frisco Pier. Zack paddled out for a couple waves while Nate and i decided to take a couple shots.
It was a great end to the GLK Trip for the guys. Wykoff, Tommy and i ended it with a downwinder lit up on 8m kites from SDA to The Slick. It was a blast and a perfect end to a great week with some old friends. I spent the rest of the day shooting scoring a couple more cool photos:
A big group of guys headed down on the annual GLK Kite Trip to Hatteras this year. It was so great to see everyone that came and shame for those of you who didnt. We had a great time riding and partying all week. GLK rented 2 houses in Frisco. They guys scored some great windy and warm sessions. Overall it was a great week, and here are the photos to prove it:
So before claire and serra left, ryan and I decided to got shoot some photos and hang out at the beach. Though it was a pretty overcast and cloudy day i still grabbed a couple decent shots…
Some of the West Michigan Crew showed up in hatteras for the week. We have been having a great time and grabbing some juicy sessions. The guys will have had wind 7 of their 7 days here. They scored it pretty well id say. here are a couple photos from our quick friday session lit on 8 and 7s.
Jadie uploaded some pretty cool shots from the Demo weekend. I tested out a hole bunch of boards: misfit, recoil, wlf, concept, and the lenten. rode all of them with straps so it was hard to tell what they would do with bindings on, but i think the larger concept would be fun as well as a larger lenten board for flat water (its got some pop).

So it seems that spring is finally here, with coaches training starting tomorrow all of the coaches are back in town. What you ask is the best way to celebrate this reunion? A full on powered slick session. It was blowing 30+ SW warm and the whole crew was there. we got in a couple hours until it got too windy and we packed it up and headed to Nags Head for a little partying.
