Adding to yesterdays great surf session, today was full of kiteboarding sessions. We woke up early as the wind was forecasted to die out by noon. We were on the water by 6:30am. There was a crew there, Brian, Brandon, Rick, Hedi, Charlie and Mel. It was Mel’s first day going up wind from one point. We rode up into the slick and rode for a while, then headed in for a break. The wind cranked all day long. I headed out again after that and rode in front of REAL for a little. I rode the dock for a bit, even though the wind was a little too west.
I then took another break and headed home for food. It was back to REAL for a shoot as the sun was starting to go down. Brandon and Brian rode for me for a bit in the Slick. Then I headed out with Charlie for another dock sliding session. I then cruised up wind into the Slick as the wind started to pick up. I met up with Mel who was already out ripping her way up to the Slick. I did a few big jumps and then called it a day. It was a perfect weekend of surf, wind and sun.
