I received a call from Ourstate Magazine to shoot a feature article on the famous Apple Uglies of the orange Blossom Bakery in Buxton, North Carolina. Mel assisted me on the shoot. It was an early start as the workers arrive there around 4am to get everything going. We arrived around 5 and stayed until they opened. It was very cool to see what happened behind the doors
