Congrads Rob for 1st, it was a fun comp everyone was trying to throw down. there were a LOT of crashes. all i can say is that, the jump that we cut was one of the best jumps at MT B ever. zach and i spent the better part of the morning cutting out and shaping the jumps.

The Shop hosted a rail jam on Friday night at MT. Brighton, MI. It was well attended. There was a good setup. A stair set with two down rails, a flat rail, a frame and a rainbow. Everyone had a great time riding. heres a little edit of the comp. enjoy…

PS Shaun White’s slopestyle run was ridiculous. im not a huge fan of 10s but 3 in one run. That is just madness. mad props.

I’m finally back in Michigan. Its great to be back at school. Things ended very well at Nestle. I had a great time there and will miss you guys. Classes are going well. There is a Packaging design course that I’m very excited to get started with. I went up to Nubs this weekend and had a great time. I took a couple really hard hits but hopefully I will be better by the weekend to go and ride at MT B.

what a crazy weekend, I drove back to MI again this weekend. I rode on fri it was a good session. Went up to state fri night and hung out with zack and check out some places to live for jan. Saw Travis it was his 21st yeah that was fun. Sat woke up early and drove home to have lunch with my parents and to pick up my new goggles. Then drove up to brighton and rode the rest of the day. Went up to state again for jimmy going away party. Don’t know how I got up but I did and went back to brighton for a crazy fun session. I rode for almost 9 hours on sun. all I can say right now is I cant move at all. It was a sweet session for the first half of the day we were just rocking fs bs’ needless to say we all have them pretty locked in. we put a 3-4 foot gap to my rail which well be the best setup on the hill if they let us keep it. It’s a pretty big gap a lot of people are gonna get owned on that. The I rode till about 730 and drove back to OH. Thanx to megan for keeping me awake. That was one tough drive.

Wed: Matt and I followed each other up to MI. We were doing fine until ann arbor. It took me an hour to get from there to Brighton, which usually is a 10-15 min drive. So I got up to MT B and hit up the slopes for a while. The snow was a little slow but was worth it. Thursday we had a great dinner. It was great to see everyone at the table. Friday it was back to the hill. We rode and set up for the prejibulation. We built jumps for the rails and sessioned them till they were good. It was a blast. Then we went over to johns had a drink and crashed. Woke up at 830 and was at the hill at 855 to help touch up before the contest that started 10. The comp was so fun. Cam and rob took 1st and 2nd. John and I didn’t make the cut but we rode well and had a really good time. Then it was Laurens b-day dinner at a really good Italian restaurant. After that I went to Greg’s it was good to see everyone there again. Sun we had brunch and I headed back down to OH.

Well it looks like im finnally going to be getting a kite. My buddy Brian LeFeve at great lakes kiteboarding has some great deals on some of the used kites. I think im gonna get the 13m desiel. I cant wait for the lakes to freeze and get out there and shred. hopefully i can get it and play with it when i go on my cruise that would be a blast!

It should be a great time jibbing with your friends. I know a bunch of mine will be there. the crew from Antix will be there. We should be blowing snow instead of shovling ice so it could be better that i even expected weeks ago.

Yes the rumors are try MT Brighton will be open today!!! Its a good thing im still stuck down here in OH and cant go ride. Holly, knob and alpine are said to be blowing and opening soon. So if your gonna go ride MT b take a run for me. It looks like the Pre Jib is not gonna be so Pre- but im still looking forward to the comp.
