The 2009 REAL Holiday Catalog has hit mailboxes across the nation. The goal of the catalog was to give our readers some good eye candy during the holiday and start of the spring season. The catalog features new products that REAL has used and has a reason for promoting, as it’s the gear we have been using.
On the production side, things were rough. The project came to fruition only 2 week before Thanksgiving. This gave me one week for design, photo and layout and 1 week for printing and distribution. A catalog is not typically something done in a week! But, once I came up with the overall theme for the catalog things went pretty smoothly. We added in the original text and as many photos as possible to give the readers plenty to look at. Even though it was one of the most pressured projects I have worked on, it was one of the best final results I have had to date.
