Sessions & Sunsets

Today was very warm for being December. It was probably high 60s or low 70s and sunny. The Crew packed up the gear and headed out to Ramp 23 for some side-off waves kiting. It turned out to be too light to get anything done.

We packed up and headed north to find a surf session. We found a nice break as did a 20-30 other people, but there was so much current that it seemed like you had the line up to yourself. The waves were head high freight trains crushing onto dry sand. Today was the first day that i’ve ever gone to drop in to see bare sand in the middle of the Ocean. I didn’t catch anything, but i witnessed some amazing barrels.

We ended the day was a nice sunset.
