Jason and I have been talking about going snowboarding probably since the day I came to Real This weekend we actually followed through on it. Jason, Nick and I took the 8 hour drive to Snowshoe WV. It was WELL worth the drive. We made it to Snowshoe just in time for last call at the bars for a cocktail in celebration of Jason’s Birthday. We scored 2 great days of riding. Saturday was T-shirts and blue skies. I took a couple laps to get back my bearing then it was to the park for a photoshoot session on the rainbow rail with some of the local riders.
We spent most of the day in the park with a couple speed runs thrown in. That night we headed out to a party with the guys from the jib session, and then followed that up by heading to the lodge’s club for more action. It snowed 4 inches and looked like a different world on Sunday. It was again blue skies but a colder. We meet up with Jason’s brother and dad in the morning. We mostly just cruised around all day bombing hills.
We heading to Virginia beach for the Slightly Stoopid concert. It was a blast. The Norva is a great place to catch a show. Stoopid was excellent live. Jason got us backstage after the show, and we wound up partying there til late.
