The surf sessions have been piling up rather quickly as of late. With perfectly peeling head high crystal clear (for hatteras) waves rolling through, it’s been hard not to be in the water. I have mostly been riding the JL 9’9 and took out carrie’s JL 6’4 fish for a couple sessions as well. Most of us have been taking the dawn session, lunch session followed by the after work session. Some are even taking the midnight session; nose riding the blue waves to the shore with the full moon lighting the way. The water has been absolutely amazing the last few days.
It would almost be worth going snorkeling in hatteras for once. I also headed out again last night to try and grab a decent shot of the “blue waves”. I brought the tripod with which helped and took away a pretty cool speed blur of a blue wave breaking.
