Today was pumping! The waves were head to overhead high with hard offshore winds. Tommie and I looked around for a bit then decided to head to go skate for a bit. After, we meet up with Zack and went to the pier for a surf. We scored some serious bombs after a nearly 20-30 minute paddle out. It was one of the toughest paddles all year. It was a great session nonetheless.

Morning Fog in Cape Hatteras
It was a very foggy morning in Cape Hatteras, NC. It was a great morning for getting some different shots in the Outer Banks. I headed to the Rodanthe Pier to see what I could find.

Rainy Sunset
It was cloudy and rainy all day today. Then just as i was heading out of work the skies cleared up for a few moments and gave me enough time to catch this image.

Morning Surf Session
Following up with yesterday’s great surf, I was up at sunrise to get the leftover waves. I met up with Zack, Lulu, Jeremy and Joel for a dawn patrol session. The waves were glassy and shoulder high, which made for a terrific morning surf.

Sunday Surf and Sunset
It was another stellar weekend in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The surf was amazing today. After a morning walk on the beach, I met up with Tommie, Greg K. (who was in town), Joel and Zack for really fun surf. We followed up the surf with a short skate session, then a sunset shoot and finished off with a great dinner with friends (thanks lu!).

South Side Surf Session in Hatteras
The wind was cranking today but it was still a bit cold to kite, so I meet up with Tommie and Trip on the South Side of the Island for a surf session. There were some fun waves that came through. I rode my Takyama longboard and caught a couple fun waves. On my way home, I stopped at the lighthouse and took some pictures along the way.

The REAL Retail Floor Series
I finished a series of photos for REAL Watersports today. In line with the rugged, grungy and industrial look, these photos bring the store floor to life by adding depth and feel to the images.
